Learn to assemble a complete mechanical watch movement with your own hands, guided every step of the way. The Calibre Learning Kit brings together a curated kit of parts and tools with custom video lessons, so you learn by doing, at the bench, not just by watching.
Note: this kit contains a fully functional movement for learning, not a complete watch you can wear. The Calibre Project is about the mechanics. It offers an in depth, hands on exploration of the movement itself.

No — this kit contains a fully functional Miyota 82S0 automatic movement for learning and practice, not a wearable wristwatch. The Calibre Project is about understanding the mechanics. You will learn to fully disassemble and reassemble a real movement, which is the foundation of watchmaking.
What tools are included?
The kit includes professional Swiss-made Bergeon tools: a 4040 movement holder, 7024-2 antimagnetic tweezers, 4422 watchmaker's loupe (4x magnification), and two 7965 screwdriver blades (1.0 mm and 1.4 mm). These are the same tools used by professional watchmakers worldwide.
How long does shipping take?
We ship from Norway via Bring and UPS. Norwegian orders typically arrive within 2–5 business days. International orders (UK, EU, rest of world) usually take 7–14 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Are there additional customs or import fees?
Norwegian customers: All prices include 25% MVA — no extra fees.
UK customers: Expect UK import VAT (20%) plus a customs handling fee (typically £8–15), collected by the courier on delivery.
EU customers: Expect local import VAT (17–25% depending on country) plus a customs handling fee (typically €8–15), collected by the courier on delivery.

Replacement parts for the Miyota 82S0 movement are available in our shop at low cost (from $4 USD). Watchmaking involves working with small, delicate components — occasional mishaps are part of learning. That is why we made sure spare parts are easy to get.

After your purchase, you will receive access to the Calibre Project course platform (academy.calibreproject.com). The video lessons are chaptered so you can follow along at your own pace while you work at your bench. A phone holder is built into the kit box so the lessons sit right in front of you.
